The Sciton Erbium Yag laser is a fractionated ablative laser which causes damage points in the epidermis down to the superficial dermis. Compared with the fractionated CO2 laser, the Erbium Yag laser emits laser energy at a different wavelength. Several studies have compared the Erbium Yag laser to the CO2 laser.
Some studies have shown equivalent results, while other studies affirm that the CO2 penetrates the skin better. For us, it is important to give priority to experience in cosmetic surgery, and that should be the case even before choosing the technology. Actually, regardless of the technology used, the most important thing
are is the hands and the talent of the person who carries out your treatment plan. Moreover, we know very well that combinations of treatments are the ultimate key to obtaining exceptional results.
