Radiofrequency is an energy which is used in medical cosmetic procedures to heat the skin, like laser or ultrasound energy. Regardless of the type of energy used, companies have developed devices which are more and more effective, and allow us to push our limits back further and further.
The Pixel RF roller-configuration is a new-generation unipolar radiofrequency. It uses fractionated unipolar radiofrequency. It allows us to make microperforations using radiofrequency, as we would do with ‘microneedling’ or a laser. Thus, the energy given off allows the skin to regenerate, to tighten and it reduces wrinkles and fine lines.
The Pixel RF roller-configuration uses a roller which gives off radiofrequency energy when moved, making treatment times shorter. For smaller areas, a round tip is used to deliver the energy while stationary.
